TERMS

a) These Terms & Conditions apply to all events held at Drill Shed Margate, operated by Margate Soul Festival Ltd (“MSF”), and should be read alongside any additional terms issued by promoters, ticket agents, or partners at the point of purchase.

b) Artists, line-ups, and billed attractions may be subject to change.

c) MSF may offer discounted ticket pricing at its discretion, including early access, promotional, or local offers.

d) Unauthorised merchandise, use of event branding, or professional recording equipment may be confiscated.

e) Tickets and goods purchased from unauthorised sellers are invalid.

f) By attending, you consent to being filmed, photographed, or recorded. Content may be used by MSF or authorised partners for promotional, security, or commercial purposes without compensation.

g) MSF reserves the right to restrict access to vehicles, including buses, coaches, or trucks, unless authorised.

a) Tickets are only valid if purchased through authorised agents.

b) Tickets may be non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise by the point of sale.

c) Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged, altered, or incomplete.

d) Tickets remain the property of Margate Soul Festival Ltd at all times.

e) Lost or stolen tickets may not be replaced.

f) Tickets may not be used for commercial or promotional purposes without prior written consent from MSF.

a) MSF reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual without refund.

b) Entry is subject to venue capacity and licensing conditions.

c) Re-entry may not be permitted unless stated for a specific event.

a) Refunds are only issued in the event of:

• Major event cancellation
• Significant programme changes
• Exceptional circumstances at MSF’s discretion

b) Refunds must be requested via the original point of purchase.

c) Booking fees are subject to the terms of the ticket agent.

d) No refunds will be issued for circumstances outside MSF’s control, including but not limited to:

• Severe weather
• Transport disruption
• Industrial action
• Public health events
• Government restrictions
• Failure of third-party suppliers

a) Entry requirements vary by event. Please check individual event listings.

b) Under 18s may be restricted or required to be accompanied by an adult.

c) It is illegal to purchase alcohol on behalf of anyone under 18.

a) You may be subject to searches on entry or within the venue.

b) Items deemed dangerous, illegal, or disruptive will be confiscated.

c) Illegal activity will result in removal and may involve police action.

d) Anti-social behaviour will result in removal without refund.

MSF reserves the right to confiscate any items deemed inappropriate.

The following items are not permitted:

• Weapons or items that could be used as weapons
• Illegal substances or ‘legal highs’
• Fireworks, flares, or explosives
• Large recording equipment or drones
• Laser devices or megaphones
• Glass containers
• External alcohol or food (unless permitted for specific events)

a) Exposure to loud sound levels may cause hearing damage.

b) Events may include lighting effects such as strobe or laser.

c) Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited in enclosed areas.

d) The use of drones or unauthorised aerial equipment is prohibited.

MSF accepts no liability for:

• Loss, theft, or damage to personal property
• Injury sustained at events, except where caused by negligence

a) Attendees must follow all venue signage and staff instructions.

b) Respect for other guests, staff, and the local area is expected at all times.

c) Failure to comply may result in removal from the venue.

Drill Shed operates within Cliftonville and is part of a wider local community. Attendees are expected to respect residents, businesses, and public spaces when arriving, attending, and leaving events.
